International Cartoon Award: Communication

In its fifth consecutive year, the unofficial world cup of satirical drawings, Niels Bugge Cartoon Award will grace the walls of the Cartoonists' Corridor this summer.

This year's theme of the annual international cartoon competition is 'communication'.

About 100 cartoonists from all over the world have submitted more than 1000 cartoon works that, in keeping with tradition, end in the hands of an international jury in Viborg.

Once the award ceremony has been held on 27 May at Viborg's historical Niels Bugges Kro, the exhibition in the Cartoonists' Corridor will display a fine selection of roughly 40 of the very best short-listed cartoons, including the awarded ones.
