Once again, Christmas is ushered in when Camerata Øresund perform Handel’s masterpiece at The Black Diamond.

Hallelujah
In spite of the fact that the work was not originally conceived as being for Christmas, many Danes have adopted it as an important part of Christmastide – and surely most people can recognise and hum the magnificent Hallelujah Chorus from the second part of the work?

A handful of Camerata Øresund’s young soloists are also performing this evening, making the concert extra surprising.

Programme
George Frideric Handel (1685-1759): Messiah

The concert lasts two hours and 30 minutes, including an intermission.
