In this version of the popular Baroque work nothing has been recomposed, but the rhythms and sounds have been adjusted, so that the music suddenly becomes a precursor of the music of more modern periods

‘The Four Seasons after Vivaldi’ could be a suitable name for this new version of this most popular and frequently played music from the Baroque era. It is still the music we are familiar with. But just as we humans change with time, so does music also change, if our experience of a particular piece of music is to be preserved.

Magnus Fryklund conducts Concerto Copenhagen with Lars Ulrik Mortensen on the harpsichord through Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

The concert lasts approx. one hour, with no intermission
